More Information

The QED split chainring balances stiffness, weight and shifting. The hollow structure takes weight out without hurting overall stiffness, and CNC machining keeps the parts working together precisely.

Magene studied the wear and shifting behaviour of different tooth shapes and developed a new 3rd-generation profile. The root, groove and tooth shape were recalculated for accurate, smooth shifts at different speeds and in different conditions, with wider spacing between teeth and added tooth strength to extend service life.

Compatibility

Made for Magene 110 BCD four-bolt power meters and cranks, such as the QED P505 and PES P505 Base, and available as a bundle option with our PES P515 and TEO P515 power meter sets. Designed for Shimano 11- and 12-speed drivetrains. It is not compatible with Shimano cranks or similarly shaped crank styles. Running SRAM, or not sure it fits your setup?
