With reliable Shimano bearings and seals, the Ultegra bottom bracket has a long service life. The HOLLOWTECH II design places the bearings outside the frame shell and pairs them with a hollow crank axle, giving a stiff, light and stable pedalling platform.

This is the standard threaded (BSA) version for frames with a 68mm shell.

Compatibility

For BSA (English) threaded bottom bracket shells, 68mm wide, used with Shimano HOLLOWTECH II road cranksets. Not for press-fit shells – for those, see our Ultegra press-fit bottom bracket (SM-BB71-41B).
