The WH-R9370-C50 is the all-round wheel in Shimano's new Dura-Ace lineup. Developed with feedback from world-class riders, it is tuned for the best balance of low weight, stiffness and aero efficiency at race speed.

The biggest change is the move to carbon spokes, together with a reworked rim layup and hub design. That brings the pair down to 1,302g, 159g lighter than the WH-R9270-C50, so the bike feels sharper on climbs and when you jump out of the saddle. Shimano ran over 5.4 million rim shape simulations to land on the new profile, which is 6% more aero than before and holds speed well across a wide range of conditions.

The 23mm internal width is made for today's 28–30C tyres, lowering rolling resistance while keeping the tyre well supported in corners. The hooked tubeless rim keeps your tyre choice open, tubeless or clincher.

Hubs Built to Last

Shimano sticks with cup & cone bearings, now with replaceable cups, so the hubs can be precisely adjusted and serviced for years. At the rear, DIRECT ENGAGEMENT gives a stiffer drive connection for more direct power transfer, while the OPTBAL spoke layout (14 drive side / 7 non-drive side) balances spoke tension against the cassette offset.
